Steve Strout - Twitter / Facebook

The legend of Strouty began in Bangor, Maine, where he grew up loving all New England sports teams. He began as a jock at the age of 17, spinning inspirational hits and eventually became a PD of WHMX/Christian CHR in his hometown. In 2002, Steve fell hard for a certain radio promoter that made it clear if he wanted to pursue her, she was not moving to Maine. So he packed up and took a job at Reunion Records in Nashville and thankfully the romance ended with Steve and AJ getting married in late 2003. In 2004, Steve and AJ made a road trip to St. Louis to watch his beloved Red Sox win their first World Series in 86 years. In 2007, Strouty joined Provident Label Group where he and AJ started working together for the first time. In August of 2007 their son Satchel was born. Two months following Satchel's birth, the Red Sox celebrated by winning the World Series yet again!

Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, I am a die-hard Seminoles fan! Two years after moving to Nashville in August '08 to continue my career in radio, I was invited over to the "other side" at Provident! David and I are newlyweds and loving married life. I get to volunteer with the Jr High youth at my church and love it! I've been known to carry a beat on the drums and in my free time, I write poetry. Okay, I lied about the poetry. I love doing anything outside, including hiking, biking, and rock climbing. I love people and have never met a stranger!

Tara Stepp - Facebook

Born and raised in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, I am a country girl at heart. Music has always been my first love. My parents tell me I was singing before I could talk – “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” by Tina Turner was my song of choice. After earning my degree in Entertainment Management, I moved to Nashville to try my hand in the business side of things. On the first day of my internship at PLG, I knew there was no other place I wanted to spend 40 hours a week. As the Promotions Manager I get to combine my passion for music with my love for throwing parties. There’s not an event or contest I can’t handle! When I’m not working, I’m traveling, cooking and spending time with close friends and my husband, my high-school sweetheart who I’ve been attached to since I was 16.

Ali Tigh - Twitter / Facebook

A born Buffalonian and a recent Syracuse grad (go ‘Cuse!), Ali picked up and moved to Nashville in pursuit of a life free of shoveling, snow boots and North Face down jackets. Some of her favorite things include gummy bears, coffee, fall weather and, of course, a solid Bills victory. She landed at Provident in August, and now welcomes the challenge that comes with being a promoter. However, the verdict is still out on how she’ll be able to compete with Katie & Shimmy In The Morning.

“The stars at night are big and bright deep in the heart of Texas” …   Yep that’s right! I am a Texan who was bred to love the Cowboys, enjoys eating peanuts while keeping score at a Rangers game, and considers chips & queso a main food group. While majoring in Entertainment Marketing at Baylor University (Sic ‘Em Bears), I spent a summer interning in Nashville and knew immediately I wanted to call Tennessee home. Three months after graduation I high tailed it back to Music City for my 1st “real job” in the marketing department of a record label. A year & a half later I found myself laughing through an interview with the WPLG radio team. Guess they thought I was funny enough to keep around, huh?  Sleyda (sly-duh) is the nickname & coordinator is my game.  If you need a radio report, travel booked, product orders, artist interview, or can’t find Strouty – I am your go-to-girl!  Outside of the office I spend my time outdoors, reading at Fido Coffee shop, doing yoga,  and exploring Nashville with friends.
